Qualifications

• Experience in risk governance and framework management within financial services.
• Knowledge of risk management policies and requirements for private banking/business units.
• Ability to coordinate risk methodologies, monitoring, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain risk structure, policies, and adherence to firm standards.
• Assess enterprise-wide risk management requirements within the Private Banking (PB) business.
• Coordinate risk programs and improve techniques for consistency and efficiency.
• Monitor PB's risk appetite and ensure compliance with group tolerances.
• Conduct daily reviews of sales process, suitability, and advisory activity.
• Investigate operational incidents and perform root cause analysis for control enhancements.
• Review new/variation of products to identify and mitigate risks.
• Act as primary 2LoD contact for PB risk limits and guidance.
• Prepare risk reporting and dashboards for senior management and audits.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to foster learning and quality within the team.
• Demonstrate HL Bank values in daily operations.
