Job summary

GLOBAL RECRUITMENT AGENCY in Singapore is seeking a maintenance-focused engineer to oversee engineering projects and preventive maintenance for printing equipment. You will work to optimize performance while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.

Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will develop maintenance strategies, troubleshoot complex issues, manage documentation, and mentor junior staff to build technical competency and reliable production processes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a mechanical and software engineer with hands-on machine maintenance skills.
• Minimum ITE qualification in Engineering or equivalent with at least 2 years of machine maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects for printing equipment installation, upgrades, and process optimization.
• Develop and implement maintenance strategies that maximize machine uptime.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide guidance to the team.
• Manage and maintain technical documentation and maintenance records.
• Drive continuous improvement including automation and technology upgrades.
• Mentor junior engineers and technicians to build technical skills.
• Calibrate machines to ensure print quality and efficiency.
• Monitor spare parts inventory and coordinate procurement to prevent shortages.
• Maintain maintenance records to support data-driven decisions.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
