Job summary

StarHub is seeking a Principal Systems Analyst in Singapore to provide strategic and technical leadership for end-to-end solution designs. You will translate complex requirements into scalable solutions across systems and platforms, guiding a team of Solution Designers to ensure quality and consistency in design practices.

You will mentor junior designers, collaborate with business and technology teams, and contribute to new business opportunities through technical insight and governance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Computing or related field with at least 10-12 years of systems analysis and design experience.
• Strong background in telecommunications industry.
• Deep knowledge of mobile and broadband networks, CRM (Compax), Billing, Provisioning Systems, Inventory, Delivery, and Integrations.
• Proven experience leading complex cross-functional solutioning initiatives involving multiple systems and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience in digital-related areas, including user journey analysis, design thinking, and human-centric approaches to solution assessment and design.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong conceptual and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent organization skills and multi-tasking in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end solution design activities across large, complex, or cross-domain initiatives, ensuring alignment with business priorities and technical standards.
• Oversee requirement analysis and ensure business needs are translated into robust function and technical specifications.
• Provide leadership and direction to the team on solutioning approach and stakeholder engagement.
• Review and validate solution designs, specifications, and process flows.
• Coach and mentor team members in systems analysis, design thinking, and solution documentation.
• Collaborate with business, architecture, delivery, operations, and partner teams to shape solution strategies.
• Drive alignment across systems and domain owners to manage dependencies and risks.
• Lead technical discussions with partners and vendors to define solution strategies.
• Contribute to RFP/RFT responses and new business opportunities with technical insight.
• Establish and maintain best practices, templates, and governance standards for systems analysis and design.
• Support resource planning and capability uplift of the Solution Designer team.

Accountabilities

• Deliver fit-for-purpose end-to-end solution designs aligned to business and technical objectives.
• Act as the single point of accountability for business requirements elicitation, prioritization, and translation into solution specifications.
• Guide and mentor junior Solution Designers to ensure consistent analysis standards, sound solution design, and professional development.
• Ensure proposed solutions are technically feasible, scalable, and well-integrated across systems and platforms.
• Provide expert technical advisory to stakeholders, including design recommendations, option assessments, and implementation guidance.
• Contribute technical leadership to partner engagements, new business initiatives, and RFP/RFT submissions.
• Guide and mentor a team of Systems Analysts/Solution Designers to ensure consistent analysis standards, sound solution design, and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Team member of CBG Solution Designer team
• Key stakeholders include CBG, FIN, COps teams, domain owners, architecture teams, delivery teams, external partners, and vendors.

Minimum Profile / Track Record
