Job summary

Kerry Consulting seeks a Principal QMS Engineer to own and advance the quality management systems within a fast-growing semiconductor manufacturing environment. You will partner with Manufacturing, Engineering and Operations to drive certification, audits, and continuous improvement across processes.

You will champion APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, FMEA and Control Plans, coaching teams on quality standards and leading corrective actions and root-cause analyses to elevate overall manufacturing

Qualifications

• 5+ years QMS/Quality experience, ideally within semiconductor manufacturing.
• Engineering degree or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
• ISO 9001 / IATF auditor certification; VDA 6.3 advantageous.
• Hands-on knowledge of APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, FMEA and Control Plans.
• Strong audit, stakeholder management and problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of the organization’s QMS.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering and Operations to drive quality initiatives.
• Drive ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 certification and lead internal/external audits.
• Establish quality policies/procedures and manage corrective actions and RCAs.
• Own IATF Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, FMEA, Control Plans) and coach teams.

Overview

Our client is a fast-growing semiconductor manufacturing organisation expanding its operations in Singapore. They are seeking a Principal QMS Engineer to take ownership of key quality systems, certification and continuous improvement initiatives.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to build and shape a QMS environment, rather than simply maintain an established system.

Role

You will lead the implementation and continuous improvement of the organisation's QMS, partnering closely with Manufacturing, Engineering and Operations.

Key responsibilities include driving ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 certification, leading internal and external audits, establishing quality policies and procedures, and managing corrective actions and RCA.

You will also own key IATF Core Tools including APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, FMEA and Control Plans, while coaching teams on quality standards and supporting wider manufacturing improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• 5+ years' QMS / Quality experience, ideally within semiconductor manufacturing
