Job summary

NES Fircroft is recruiting a Principal Process Engineer to support offshore Oil & Gas engineering projects. The role requires extensive experience in process design, offshore knowledge, and leadership on international assignments.

The candidate should have a strong track record with major engineering firms, familiarity with global standards, and the ability to coordinate with clients across regions. This position is based in Singapore and involves complex process scheme development and tender

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in a relevant field.
• 15+ years of experience in process design in Oil & Gas, refinery, petrochemicals, and LNG terminal projects.
• 3–5 years as Lead Process Engineer on Middle East projects at international engineering firms.
• Familiar with API, ASME, Shell, Qatar Energy standards and Saudi Aramco standards; knowledge of Middle East regulations.
• Experience with offshore engineering process knowledge and international project running systems.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with foreign clients on process design schemes and solve problems in the process discipline.
• Coordinate with client to resolve issues and close-out comments.
• Responsible for technical tender document review, clarifications, and bid evaluation documents.
• Provide technical training and guidance at least 10 times or 40 hours per year.
• Be responsible for completing other related work assigned by client.

Job Description & Requirements

Responsibilities

• Communicate and coordinate with foreign clients on process design schemes, etc., and solve the problems of process discipline.
• Coordinate with client to solve relevant problems and close-out comments.
• Responsible for technical tender document review, technical clarification, bid evaluation document review and other work.
• Provide technical training and guidance on a regular basis, with no less than 10 times or 40 hours of training per year.
• Be responsible for completing other related work assigned by client.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above
• More than 15 years of working experience in process design in Oil and Gas, refinery, petrochemicals, and LNG terminal projects
• Have at least 3-5 years' experience as a Lead Process Engineer in Middle East projects, with work experience in internationally renowned engineering companies, such as Technip, Worley, Wood, Flour, MCDERMOTT etc.
• Familiar with oil and gas field development knowledge, offshore engineering process knowledge, technical standards and specifications (including but not limited to API, ASME, SHELL, Qatar Energy corporate standards, Saudi Aramco standards), industry regulations and policies of Middle East projects.
• Familiar with international project running system, client design concept, strong technical plan development and control ability, able to timely discover and solve problems, control and eliminate risks.
• Proficient in process design software, such as Aspen HYSYS, FLARENET, HTRI, etc.
