Job summary

NES Fircroft is seeking a Senior Principal Process Engineer to lead offshore Oil & Gas projects. The role involves directing process design, simulations, P&ID development, and relief studies for FPSO and LNG terminal ventures.

You will oversee process teams, conduct front-end engineering design (FEED), and contribute to concept studies and detailed design efforts. A strong background in chemical engineering and 15+ years of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering.
• At least 15 years of relevant engineering design experience.
• Experience in Offshore FPSO, Oil & Gas, and LNG terminal projects; energy transition exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead process engineering and design, including configuration and optimization studies.
• Perform process simulations and prepare diagrams, heat and material balances, and utility balances.
• Create P&IDs and prepare datasheets for process equipment and instruments.
• Conduct relief and blowdown studies, assess relief load scenarios, and analyze flare network requirements.
• Perform process calculations for equipment sizing and line hydraulics.
• Develop process design philosophies and operating guides.
• Collaborate on FEED, feasibility reports, and detailed design projects.

NES Fircroft is currently recruiting a Senior Principal Process Engineer to support offshore Oil & Gas engineering projects.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead Process Engineering and design, including process configuration and optimization studies
• Perform Process simulations and prepare Process/Utility Flow Diagrams, Heat and Material Balance and Utility Balances
• Create Piping and Instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs)
• Prepare datasheets for process equipment and instruments
• Conduct relief and blowdown studies, analyze relief load scenarios and calculate flare network requirements
• Perform process calculations for equipment sizing and line hydraulics
• Prepare Process design philosophies and operating guides
• Collaborate on Concept studies, Feasibility reports, Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) and detailed design projects

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering
• At least 15 years of relevant engineering design experience
• Good experience with Offshore FPSO, Oil and Gas, and LNG terminal projects. Experience on Energy transition projects will be an advantage
• Leadership experience in managing process teams for Hydrocarbon projects - Concept studies, Front-End Engineering Design (FEED), and detailed design projects
• In-depth understanding of process design, heat and material balance and P&IDs
• Preference given to candidates with Lead Engineer / Area Lead Engineer experience
• Familiarity with international codes and standards, software and tools
