Job summary

CPG CONSULTANTS PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a Civil Engineer to lead planning and design of civil works for buildings and infrastructure projects. You will prepare design concepts, technical specs for tenders, and ensure compliance with statutory standards.

You will supervise technical works, coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, and support bid submissions while upholding quality and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or equivalent recognised by PE Board of Singapore.
• At least 3 years of experience in related field, preferably buildings/infrastructure.
• Familiar with local Codes (Singapore) and Eurocode, with statutory regs.
• Proficient in structural design software ETABS, STAAD Pro, Prokon, Tekla Tedds, SAFE, SAP 2000.
• Good project management skills; able to work independently and in a team.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Involved in the full spectrum of planning and designing of civil engineering works
• Prepare and support the design and technical specifications for tenders; as well as tender documents for the bidding of civil (buildings and infrastructure) projects
• Supervise technical works and ensure it comply to statutory standards and requirements
• Collaborate with peers from other discipline(s) to meet project requirements and cohesively deliver quality service to both internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or its equivalent that is recognised by Professional Engineers Board of Singapore
• At least 3 years of working experience in the related field and preferably handling buildings and infrastructure projects.
• Familiar with engineering design local Codes, Eurocode, and statutory regulations and requirements.
• Well versed in structural design software such as ETABS, STAAD Pro, Prokon, Tekla Tedds, SAFE, SAP 2000, etc.
• Good project management skills, able to work independently and as a team player.
• Candidates with more relevant experience will be considered for the senior position.
