Job summary

Global Automotive MNC in Singapore seeks a Principal Engineer, Supplier Quality Management, to lead semiconductor test supplier quality across wafer sort, burn-in and final test. You will collaborate with OSATs and test houses to ensure robust quality performance and readiness for new products.

You will drive audits (IATF 16949, VDA 6.3), lead 8D investigations, support NPI test qualification and push continuous improvement in test coverage, DFT/ATPG, and supplier processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years in semiconductor test engineering and/or supplier quality.
• 3+ years in automotive semiconductors.
• Hands-on with Advantest A93K testers and tester hardware/software.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949, VDA 6.3, APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA, FMEA.

Responsibilities

• Manage Semiconductor Test Suppliers – Drive supplier quality for wafer sort, burn-in and final test.
• Lead Audits & Quality Compliance – Conduct VDA 6.3 and IATF 16949 audits and ensure suppliers meet requirements.
• Drive Test & Burn-In Problem Solving – Lead 8D/root-cause investigations for yield and reliability issues.
• Support NPI & Test Process Qualification – Collaborate with R&D and Operations for new test processes.
• Drive Supplier Improvement – Improve test coverage, automation and defect prevention across suppliers.
