Job summary

SATO Asia Pacific Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks an experienced System Analyst (Presales – PLC Automation) to join our presales team, blending technical rigor with customer engagement to translate business needs into actionable automation solutions.

You will partner with sales to qualify opportunities, conduct discovery, deliver product demos and POCs, document requirements, and design scalable integration with PLCs, HMIs, ERP/MES, and factory networks.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Industrial/Mechatronics Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline.
Minimum 4 years of experience in presales engineering, solution consulting, business analysis, or systems analysis.
Experience supporting enterprise software solutions in manufacturing, industrial automation, logistics, or related industries.
Proven track record of working with customers to identify requirements and deliver solutions.

Responsibilities

Partner with Account Executives and Sales teams throughout the sales lifecycle to qualify opportunities and support deal closure.
Conduct customer discovery sessions, workshops, and stakeholder interviews to identify business requirements and objectives.
Deliver product presentations, technical demonstrations, POCs, and pilot projects tailored to customer environments.
Act as trusted advisor by recommending solutions aligned with customer needs and industry best practices.
Collaborate with Product Management, Software Engineering, QA, and Implementation teams to ensure feasibility and successful delivery.
