Job summary

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in pre-sales, 5+ years in software development, and strong communication skills. This role requires up to 50% travel and a solid programming background.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years pre-sales experience.
• 5+ years total software development experience.
• Proficient in at least one scripting language (Python/Node.js/SQL) and/or languages (C/C++, Java, C#).
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Design systems, applications, and infrastructure to help drive large software development projects using MongoDB.
• Advise customers on architectures, patterns, and strategies for optimizing MongoDB usage.
• Partner with the sales team to drive success in assigned accounts and opportunities.
• Translate technical concepts into business benefits for stakeholders and executives.
• Mentor and share methodologies with other pre-sales team members.
