Job summary

Land Transport Authority (LTA) Singapore is seeking a Senior/Executive Project Engineer, Power Supply to lead power supply contractors on transit projects, with emphasis on underground MRT stations. You will ensure safety, quality, and progress, assist planning cashflows, issue instructions, and assess variations and payments.

You will coordinate with project teams, contractors, designers, and the Railway Operator to ensure reliable power supply.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
• Relevant experience in large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Good appreciation of the constraints and interface requirements of civil, electrical and mechanical works.
• Strong project management and leadership skills, with a proven track record.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• A team player who is analytical, resourceful and result-oriented.
• Able to perform occasional night works including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead power supply contractors in constructing transit projects, with a focus on underground MRT stations.
• Ensure safety, quality and progress of the contractors’ works.
• Assist the Senior Project Manager in planning and managing cashflows of contracts; issue instructions and assess variations/payments/claims.
• Liaise with project teams, contractors, designers and architects to ensure well-coordinated power supply for transit systems; review feedback from the Railway Operator.
