Job summary

Centalion is seeking a Power Origination Analyst in Singapore to support the Head of APAC Power Trading and Origination. You will originate opportunities, analyse deals, and build market relationships across the region.

You will own defined transactions, develop pricing models and support portfolio management, reporting to internal stakeholders. Fluency in English and strong numeracy are essential.

Qualifications

• University Degree in Finance/ Economics /Engineering/ Mathematics preferred.
• 5–7 years in Gas, Renewables, Power, trading houses or banks.
• Strong understanding of wholesale power markets and product types.
• Experience negotiating term sheets and leading transaction execution.
• Fluent in English with strong written and spoken skills.
• Excellent analytical, numerical and portfolio analysis capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Support the APAC Power origination strategy and maintain an active pipeline of counterparties and opportunities.
• Originate and evaluate opportunities across renewable energy, storage, structured power supply, and related products.
• Lead defined commercial discussions, including term sheets and deal negotiations.
• Develop relationships with generators, developers, utilities, retailers, data centres and financial counterparties.
• Prepare market analyses, proposals, term sheets and transaction materials documenting terms and risk.
• Provide analytical support for portfolio management, hedging, risk assessment and monetisation.
