Job summary

Centalion Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Risk Officer for Power and Gas to join the Risk team in Singapore. The role focuses on measuring and monitoring positions, P/L, and market risk, delivering high-quality reports and digital tools to support decision-making.

The candidate will develop risk analytics, validate models, and challenge front-office assumptions, working closely with Trading, Origination, Finance and IT. Fluency in English and a degree in a quantitative field are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor-level degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
Experience with renewables/Power markets is a plus.
Strong understanding of financial derivatives and risk measurements.
Proven ability to model, validate, and challenge risk assumptions.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain risk reporting to communicate daily position, P/L and market risk.
Analyze, model, and report market risk for trading activities.
Coordinate deal validation, price checks, and data reconciliation.
Ensure timely risk reporting and compliance with risk limits and policies.
Communicate risk insights to Front Office, Finance, and IT teams.
