Recruit Expert Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a design engineer to create analog and digital control systems for switch‑mode power converters.

You will build prototypes, simulate performance, and validate electrical, thermal, EMI/EMC, and reliability targets to ensure robust product designs. The role requires a degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering and at least three years of power electronics experience, including flyback, forward, buck, boost, or resonant converters.

Qualifications

Requires degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
3+ years in power electronics design (flyback, forward, buck, boost, resonant converters).
Knowledge of EMI/EMC mitigation, thermal management, reliability testing.
Familiar with analog/digital control strategies, embedded firmware (MCU/DSP), and PMBus/I2C/SPI/CAN.
Proficiency with LTspice, MATLAB/Simulink, PCB CAD, and lab instruments.

Responsibilities

Design and develop analog/digital control systems for switch‑mode power converters.
Build prototypes, run simulations, and conduct validation tests (electrical, thermal, EMI/EMC, reliability) to qualify designs.
Prepare and maintain design documentation, schematics, PCB layouts, BOMs, and test reports with proper version control.
Collaborate with mechanical, PCB, manufacturing, procurement, and quality teams to support smooth transfer into production.
Ensure compliance with international safety and environmental standards (IEC, UL, RoHS, REACH) while promoting ISO 9001 practices.
