Job summary

Amperesand in Singapore is seeking a Senior Power Electronics Control Engineer to focus on control and system behavior of advanced power converters, including AC-DC and DC-DC topologies.

You will work hands-on across control design, modeling, analysis, laboratory debugging, and validation, and collaborate closely with hardware, firmware, and system engineers to bring robust power electronics solutions from concept through validation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in digital control for power converters.
• Strong grasp of resonant power conversion and topologies.
• Experience with embedded real-time control on DSP/MCU.
• Proficient in MATLAB/Simulink and PLECS for modeling.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement digital control for AC-DC and DC-DC converters across LV and MV.
• Develop models for stability analysis and transient optimization.
• Support control strategies for multilevel or resonant topologies.
• Implement real-time control on DSP/MCU/SoC platforms.
• Lead debugging across simulation, FPGA/firmware, and hardware bring-up.
• Collaborate with hardware and firmware teams to optimize control loops.
