Job summary

Amperesand in Singapore is seeking a Senior Power Electronics Control Engineer to design and implement digital control for AC-DC and DC-DC converters, including multilevel and resonant topologies used in solid-state transformers.

You will work across control design, modeling, lab debugging, and collaborate with hardware, firmware, and system engineers to bring robust power electronics solutions from concept to validation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience designing and deploying digital control for power converters.
• Strong understanding of resonant power conversion and control across isolated/non-isolated topologies.
• Solid foundation in control theory including loop compensation, stability margins, and time-/frequency-domain analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement digital control algorithms for AC-DC and DC-DC converters across low-/mid-voltage ranges.
• Develop small- and large-signal models for stability analysis and transient optimization.
• Lead verification activities including loop stability measurement and fault handling verification.
• Collaborate with hardware/firmware teams to optimize sensing and control-loop performance.
