Amperesand in Singapore seeks a Power Electronics Control Intern to contribute to design, modeling, analysis, and validation of advanced power conversion systems, including AC-DC and DC-DC converters for LV and MV applications.

You will work closely with experienced engineers, gain hands-on lab experience, and learn about control systems, hardware and firmware interaction, and industry testing practices under supervision.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• coursework in power electronics, control systems, or related areas.
• Basic understanding of power converter operation and control concepts.
• Familiarity with feedback, stability, and transient response.
• Ability to analyze technical problems and learn quickly.
• Hands-on laboratory work under supervision.

Responsabilités

• Assist in modeling and analysis of power converters and control loops.
• Support development and evaluation of control strategies for AC-DC and DC-DC converters.
• Characterize system behavior: stability, transient response, operating limits.
• Participate in lab testing, debugging, and validation of hardware.
• Support data collection, analysis, and documentation of results.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and system engineers on development tasks.
• Contribute to simulation and modeling using industry tools.
• Follow safety practices with high-voltage/high-power systems.
