Job summary

WAGO Group, with its R&D Competence Center in Singapore, seeks an experienced Power Electronics Engineer to develop innovative circuit designs for power electronics applications. You will perform design and simulations, select components for cost and reliability, and create schematics with OrCAD and PCB layouts while collaborating with PCB design engineers.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years in power electronics and PCB design, strong knowledge of analog/digital electronics, EMC, and thermal

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in power electronics and PCB design.
• Solid understanding of analog/digital electronics, EMC, reliability and thermal engineering.
• Fluent in English; German a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative circuit designs for power electronics applications.
• Perform circuit design and simulations; select components for cost, performance and reliability.
• Create schematics with OrCAD, BOM and PCB designs; collaborate with PCB design engineer.
• Conduct PCB prototype testing to verify performance and reliability.
• Troubleshoot circuits and collaborate with engineering teams for product launches.
• Create technical documents and stay updated on power electronics trends.
