Job summary

Barry Callebaut Group in Singapore seeks an experienced data analytics professional to design and build an interactive Employment Cost Dashboard using Power BI. The role consolidates workforce cost data across APAC markets and provides monthly expense visibility across regions, countries, departments and individuals.

The successful candidate will develop automated reports, create robust data models with Power Query and build scenario What-If analyses to inform strategic staffing decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Information Systems or related field.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze and interpret payroll data from APAC markets.
• Prepare and normalize data for system ingestion.
• Develop end-to-end interactive Power BI tool for Total Cost of Employment by region, country, department and individuals.
• Create dashboards for base pay, incentives, benefits, etc.
• Design data models using Power Query including various models.
• Embed scenario modeling What-If outputs for future projections.
• Build executive-ready visualizations for decision-making and ensure access control.

Job description

Barry Callebaut is seeking an experienced individual with a background in workforce analytics and financial reporting to design and build an interactive Employment Cost Dashboard. The successful candidate will consolidate workforce cost data from multiple sources and develop automated reports that provide monthly visibility into employee-related expenses across countries, business units, and employee populations.

This is a 6 months contract.

About the role:

• Collect, analyze and interpret payroll data gathered from the different markets and sources across the Asia Pacific Markets.
• Prepare and normalize the data in readiness for conversion into a system readable format.
• Develop end - to - end an interactive Power BI tool which utilizes the normalized data gathered to provide information and insights on the Total Cost of Employment broken down by Region, Countries, departments and individuals.
• Develop individual dashboards for different pay components e.g. Base Salary, Short Term Incentives, Sales Incentives, Benefits etc broken down by Region, Countries, departments and individuals.
• Develop and design robust data models as required by the stakeholders using Power Query. These data models include but not limited to Personal Cost Efficiency model, Overhead Efficiency models, Monthly employment cost trends, Actual vs budget variance, Year-on-year comparison, Merit increase impact etc
• Develop and embed an interactive scenario modeling "what-if" output to aid simulation of future scenarios using the Total Cost of Employment data
• Build executive ready visualizations easily exported from the Power BI and for utilization for decision-making.
• Embed access management rights, correctly, to the Power BI Tool.

About You:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, Information Systems or a related field.
• Previous experience in data analysis, business indicator analytics is preferred
• Prior hands-on experience in Power BI development.
• Preferred candidates with experience building workforce, HR, payroll, finance, or labor cost dashboards
• Solid knowledge of analytical tools, such as Excel, and data visualization platforms.
• Experience handling large datasets and multiple data sources
• Interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with teams across the APAC Region.
• Clear and concise communication abilities, both verbally and in writing.
