Job summary

NTU Singapore's School of Art, Design and Media seeks a Senior Executive/Assistant Manager to lead the administrative management of its postgraduate research programs. The role covers admissions, candidature, examinations, scholarships, events, and governance, reporting to the Manager (Graduate Programmes).

The ideal candidate will drive data analytics, ensure policy compliance, and coordinate with faculty, students, international partners, and external agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with at least 4-5 years of progressive administrative experience in higher education.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Exceptional organisational and project management skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex priorities across overlapping timelines and deadlines.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills for professional engagement with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with cultural sensitivity.
• Meticulous attention to detail in documentation, compliance, data management, and quality assurance processes.
• Proven adaptability and resilience in dynamic environments with sound judgment in ambiguous situations.

Responsibilities

• Manage admissions processes including evaluation, faculty matching, scholarship interviews, and appeals.
• Oversee candidature lifecycle for PhD and Master's students, identify at-risk cases, and handle extensions and policy exceptions.
• Coordinate examinations, nominations, international logistics, and Board processes with integrity.
• Administer scholarships, stipends, graduate research funding, and tuition disputes.
• Plan student engagement events, orientations, workshops, and research symposia.
• Drive data analytics, process improvements, quality assurance, and policy documentation to inform leadership.
