Job summary

NTU Singapore is seeking a Lead, Academic to ensure delivery and continuous improvement of postgraduate academic programmes. You will manage PhD processes, QE and examiner coordination, admissions and scholarships, and research exchange partnerships.

You will also support curriculum development, teaching initiatives, and data-driven planning to drive efficiency and compliance across administrative workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma with minimum 5 years of relevant experience in student services.
• Ability to oversee complex administrative processes and coordinate curriculum development.

Responsibilities

• Oversee PhD-specific academic processes: QE, thesis, reviewer coordination.
• Coordinate QE logistics, reports, and reviewer assignments.
• Attend to academic matters for PhD programme partnerships and joint PhDs.
• Oversee research exchange programmes (e.g., CSC, non-degree).
• Oversee PhD Admissions and Scholarships.
• Support academic matters for joint PhD programmes and institutional partnerships.
• Oversee research exchange programmes (e.g., CSC, non-degree), ensuring smooth processing and tracking.
• Provide teaching support insights and coordinate faculty engagement initiatives.
• Post Work Study Scheme (WSS) assignments as requested by professors and GS Office and assign shortlisted students.
• Check on prepared billing for MSc students for each Semester.
• Follow up on Monthly Aging Report for MSc students with outstanding tuition fees.
• Oversee fee waiver appeals process.
• Process WSS students’ claim submission.
• Data-driven Planning and Process Improvement Manage Data analysis of postgraduate student demographics for GIEP projections.
• Improve workflows and implement policies for process automation and digitalization of administrative workflows to improve efficiency.
