Job summary

BERKELEY EDUCATION ALLIANCE FOR RESEARCH IN SINGAPORE LIMITED seeks a post‑doctoral wet‑lab scientist to execute projects within the SURF program. The role focuses on planning and performing scalable assays and RNA‑centric studies, in collaboration with senior scientists and bioinformaticians.

You will analyze data, maintain records, mentor students, and present findings at conferences and in publications. A PhD with 1–5 years postdoc experience is required.

Qualifications

• PhD in molecular biology, cell biology, biochemistry, genetics, bioengineering, or a closely related biomedical discipline, with 1–5 years of postdoctoral research experience in an academic or industrial setting.
• Strong record of peer‑reviewed publications or submitted manuscripts.
• Experience with high‑throughput or scalable experimental assays.
• Ability to independently plan, execute and troubleshoot complex experiments.
• Excellent collaboration in interdisciplinary or cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency with a wide range of wet-lab assays and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Plan and carry out experiments for SURF program projects, with focus on high‑throughput or scalable assays.
• Analyze experimental data and troubleshoot unsuccessful approaches.
• Maintain detailed experimental records and ensure reproducibility.
• Train or mentor students and research technicians; contribute to lab meetings.
• Disseminate findings via conferences and peer‑reviewed manuscripts.
