Job summary

NTU's School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering invites applications for a Postdoctoral or Research Fellow to lead independent research in next-generation electrochemical energy systems at NTU. The role spans solid-state batteries, interfacial chemistry, electro-chemo-mechanics, and energy materials, with mentorship of graduate and undergraduate students.

Qualifications

• PhD or conferring PhD in a related field.
• 3+ years hands-on experience in materials synthesis, electrochemical testing, and characterization.
• Proven track record of high-quality publications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced research on solid-state batteries.
• Work on high energy batteries.
• Materials synthesis.
• Develop materials for sensors, semiconductors, switches, transistors.
• Design and perform electrochemical, mechanical, and materials characterizations.
• Collaborate with internal/external partners on joint projects.
• Prepare manuscripts for high-impact journals and present at conferences.
• Contribute to grant proposals and new project development.
• Mentor and supervise PhD, Master's, and undergraduate students.
