Job summary

NTU's School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering invites a highly motivated Postdoctoral or Research Fellow to drive independent research in next-generation electrochemical energy systems, with a focus on solid-state batteries, interfacial chemistry, electro-chemo-mechanics, and novel energy materials.

The role supports interdisciplinary collaborations across materials science, electrochemistry, and mechanics; mentors graduate and undergraduate students in the lab; and contributes to grant

Qualifications

• PhD or near completion in a relevant field.
• At least 3 years hands-on experience in materials synthesis, electrochemical testing, and advanced characterization.
• Proven publications in high-impact journals.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced research on solid-state batteries.
• Develop materials and devices for energy systems.
• Design and perform electrochemical, mechanical, and advanced characterizations.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners on joint projects.
• Prepare manuscripts and present at international conferences.
• Contribute to grant proposal writing and new project development.
• Mentor and supervise PhD, Master’s and undergraduate students.
