Job summary

NTU Singapore seeks a highly motivated Postdoctoral or Research Fellow to advance independent research in next-generation electrochemical energy systems. The role spans materials science, electrochemistry, and mechanics, mentoring students and developing scalable energy materials and devices.

The successful candidate will lead studies on solid-state batteries, interfacial chemistry, and electro-chemo-mechanics, collaborating with academic and industrial partners and contributing to grant

Qualifications

• PhD in Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, EEE, Mechanical Engineering, or related field and strong publication record.
• Hands-on experience in materials synthesis, electrochemical testing, and advanced characterization techniques.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced research on solid-state batteries and related energy materials.
• Design and perform electrochemical, mechanical, and materials characterizations.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners on joint projects.
• Prepare manuscripts for high-impact journals and present at conferences.
• Contribute to grant proposals and new project development.
• Mentor and supervise graduate students and undergraduates in the lab.
