Job summary

CAREERNEXUS PTE. LTD. is seeking a Quantity Surveyor with 2–3 years of post-contract experience in civil construction.

You will evaluate progress claims, assess variation orders, and prepare final accounts with subcontractors and clients. Proficiency in Excel and AutoCAD is required; immediate start is a plus. The role involves quantity take-offs, evaluating quotations, and advising on cost and contract matters in collaboration with the project team.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• 2 – 3 years of relevant post-contract quantity surveying experience in the civil construction industry.
• Experience in assessing progress claims and variation orders.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and AutoCAD.
• Able to start work immediately / within short notice is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate subcontractor progress claims and prepare payment responses.
• Assess variation orders and extension of time claims.
• Prepare and agree final accounts with subcontractors and the client.
• Carry out quantity take-off and obtain quotations for project works.
• Compare quotations and recommend suitable subcontractors and suppliers.
• Work closely with the project team on cost and contract matters.
