Job summary

PINNACLE MARINE (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is seeking a maritime operations coordinator to oversee vessel arrivals, berthing, and service coordination in Singapore.

The role involves liaising with Masters, engineers, agents, yards and service providers to ensure seamless calls and timely updates. Responsibilities include coordinating marine services, safety compliance, and project support for shipyard activities, plus crew changes and provisioning.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate vessel arrivals, berthing, shifting, anchoring and departures.
• Monitor vessel schedules and provide timely updates on changes or delays
• Coordinate with vessel Masters, Chief Engineers, ship agents and relevant parties on operational requirements.
• Arrange and coordinate marine services required for vessel operations.
• Monitor vessel movements and operational activities to ensure smooth execution.
• Coordinate with terminals, shipyards, anchorage operators and other marine facilities.
• Assist in resolving operational issues arising during vessel calls.
• Coordinate services such as: o Launch boat services o mooring services o Fresh water supply o waste disposal o Provision and stores delivery o Ship spares and equipment delivery o Crew transfer o Any other marin/ yard related services.
• Liaise with subcontractors and service providers to ensure timely deployment.
• Monitor service completion and verify operational requirements before closing the job.
• Follow up on service reports, work completion records and supporting documents.
• Ensure all marine operations are conducted in accordance with company safety procedures and applicable maritime requirements.
• Ensure contractors and service providers comply with required safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Participate in toolbox meetings, safety briefings and operational meetings.
• Report accidents, near misses, unsafe acts and unsafe conditions immediately.
• Assist with incident investigations and implementation of corrective actions.
• Monitor compliance with applicable port, marine and workplace safety requirements.
• Coordinate vessel movements and operational requirements for vessels entering or leaving shipyards.
• Support docking, undocking and shifting activities where required.
• Coordinate with shipyards, contractors and vessel representatives on work schedules.
• Assist in coordinating manpower, equipment and marine services for repair, maintenance and project activities.
• Monitor progress and report delays or operational issues to the Marine Operations Manager.
• Coordinate crew changes, crew transfers and related transportation where required.
• Assist with crew-related logistical arrangements during vessel calls.
• Coordinate delivery of provisions, ship stores, spares and equipment.
• Liaise with vessel representatives to understand and address operational requirements.
