About the job Marine Assistant (Ship Manager)
Responsibilities:
Marine / QHSE – Directly support Marine Manager & Superintendents in Vessel Operations
Manage and maintain up to date marine documentation and filing system
Summarize fleet ships monthly / quarterly reports and records as required
Assist to monitor the Fleet KPI
Format and send circulars / alerts & best practice to ships. Follow up with vessels to receive feedback. Compile and assist Marine Manager/DPA for summarizing and analysing data
Download and promulgate Flag circulars to vessels and upload in System and keep it up to date
Monitor drug and alcohol test fleet wide validity and arrange tests accordingly (involving liaising with contractor, agents etc for smooth and timely co‑ordination)
Record and maintain weekly and monthly meeting minutes
Payment Arrangement (Management Company invoice) and following up
Assist in organizing documents required by TMSA
Liaise with CSO for monitoring security threats and communicate with vessels
Format and send security circulars and alerts to ships
Arrange armed guards for vessels transiting in the High Risk Areas
Complete security related questionnaire required by charterer
Liaise with legal department for AWRP and K&R insurance arrangement, etc and input in system as required
Payment Arrangement for Security
Maintain Q88 database
Send Q88 offline questionnaire for updating twice a month or as required
All other day to day works, and assist in other administrative matters as and when directed
Requirements:

Able to work in a team environment independently with minimum supervision.
