Job summary

Public Service Division in Singapore seeks a policy and programme analyst to support central oversight across Workforce groups. You will help shape workplans, track performance, analyse data, and engage stakeholders to improve policy outcomes.

Responsibilities include reviewing programme policies, building data reports, coordinating across divisions, and preparing papers for senior management. Strong communication and a citizen-centric mindset are essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and conceptual abilities with the capacity to translate concepts into discrete policies.
  • Proficient in data analytics tools and able to draw, process and interpret data for decisions.
  • Ability to scope reviews and develop evidence-based recommendations.
  • Familiarity with Python or other programming languages is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct reviews of programme policies for effectiveness and alignment with workforce objectives.
  • Analyse data from relevant sources to support programme tracking and policy reviews.
  • Support annual workplanning, coordinating across divisions and consolidating plans.
  • Handle policy enquiries and prepare responses for parliamentary questions and submissions.
  • Provide secretariat support for committees, including agendas, minutes and follow-ups.
  • Maintain knowledge management and ensure accessible institutional information.
