Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily plumbing installation activities to ensure adherence to project drawings, specifications and timelines

• Read and interpret plumbing drawings, plans and technical specifications for installation methods and materials
• Supervise and guide plumbing workers and subcontractors to ensure proper workmanship
• Coordinate testing and commissioning of plumbing systems and ensure proper operation
• Prepare and maintain site records including progress updates, material usage and inspection records

Job Summary

The Plumbing Supervisor will oversee and coordinate plumbing installation works, site activities, and plumbing projects to ensure compliance with project requirements, safety standards, and quality expectations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily plumbing installation activities to ensure adherence to project drawings, specifications, and timelines
• Supervise site personnel, contractors, and workers to maintain quality and safety standards during plumbing works
• Collaborate with project teams, suppliers, and clients to resolve issues and facilitate smooth project execution
• Monitor compliance with safety regulations and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks on site
• Inspect plumbing installations regularly to verify conformity with technical and quality requirements
• Manage resources and materials efficiently to support timely completion of plumbing project
• Supervise plumbing installation works at construction and project sites, including water supply, sanitary and drainage piping systems.
• Coordinate daily plumbing activities and ensure that works are carried out according to approved drawings, project specifications and work schedules.
• Read and interpret plumbing drawings, plans and technical specifications to determine the required installation methods, materials and work sequence.
• Plan and allocate manpower for plumbing works according to project requirements and site conditions.
• Supervise and guide plumbing workers and subcontractors to ensure proper installation methods and workmanship.
• Monitor the progress of plumbing works and coordinate with other trades to minimise clashes, delays and disruption to project schedules.
• Inspect completed plumbing installations and identify defects, leakage, improper connections or other workmanship issues.
• Coordinate testing and commissioning of plumbing and sanitary systems where required, including checking piping systems and related installations for proper operation.
• Ensure that materials and equipment required for plumbing works are available on site , and coordinate with suppliers regarding delivery and usage.
• Monitor work quality and site conditions and ensure that rectification works are carried out promptly where defects are identified.
• Coordinate with project managers, site personnel, contractors and clients regarding plumbing work progress, site requirements and technical matters.
• Prepare and maintain site records , including work progress updates, material usage, inspection records and other plumbing-related documentation.
• Assist in planning work schedules and manpower requirements to meet project deadlines.
• Identify technical and operational issues arising during plumbing installation works and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Ensure plumbing works are carried out in accordance with applicable workplace safety requirements and company procedures.
• Supervise housekeeping and proper storage of plumbing materials and equipment at work sites.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor ongoing works to ensure that installation standards and project requirements are maintained.
• Liaise with subcontractors and workers to coordinate work sequencing and resolve day-to-day site issues.
• Assist the project team in quantity checking and material planning for plumbing works.
• Perform other plumbing supervision and project coordination duties reasonably assigned by the management.
