Job summary

sggovterp is seeking an Assistant Engineer, Platform Administration (Rail Digitalisation) to join the Rail Digitalisation & Guild team in Singapore. You will help manage CDP user onboarding, roles, and security groups while supporting incident resolution and asset tracking.

The role emphasizes cross-functional coordination, adherence to SOPs, and engagement with multiple stakeholders to enable efficient operations and project delivery.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in Engineering or Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of platform or software maintenance experience.
• Experience with basic budget tracking, procurement processes, and vendor management is a plus.
• Comfortable using AI tools and eager to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities

• User Administration: onboarding/offboarding; manage roles/permissions for CDPs per SOPs.
• Feedback & Communications: monitor user feedback and respond professionally.
• Incident & Problem Management: provide 1st/2nd level support; troubleshoot issues.
• Asset & License Tracking: maintain inventories of assets and software licenses.
• Financial & Procurement Management: monitor budgets; handle end-to-end procurement.
• Documentation & Correspondence: draft memos, PRs, NDAs, and standard letters.
