Job summary

NCS Group in Singapore is seeking a Cloud DevSecOps Engineer to develop and manage the cloud infrastructure backing our services. You will work in a DevSecOps‑driven team handling AWS environments, IaC deployments, and CI/CD pipelines to improve availability and reliability.

You will collaborate in an agile, cross‑functional setting, implement automation using Terraform and CloudFormation, script with Python/Ansible, and ensure security best practices across deployments while supporting client

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of relevant IT experience.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD and IaC automation.
• Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.).
• Knowledge of AWS services and cloud concepts.

Responsibilities

• Setup, testing, implementation and maintenance of technologies on AWS cloud environments.
• Setup, testing and integration of CI/CD tools.
• Architecting and developing solutions to meet project requirements.
• Working in an agile, cross‑functional team, actively engaging to support the success of the team.
• Solving complex technical problems individually and as a team.
• Review and improve work processes based on best practices in industry, specific to service support operations for client IT Cloud infrastructure.
• Documentation of new processes.
• Demonstrate hands‑on knowledge of DevSecOps to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) development and deployment in project deliveries.
• Operate, manage and support the IT infrastructure and services implemented to meet prescribed service levels by the client.
• Ensure that project implementation and operations are aligned to client technology standards and policies.
• Provide AWS maintenance support for production systems (eg. monitoring, tuning, patch updates/upgrades).
• Reduce time required for production through skills in AWS CloudFormation to deploy automation infrastructure.
• Knowledge of AMI, ASG development and maintenance
• Improve resources and working on resource tagging for cost designating, budgeting, reporting and governance

As a Cloud DevSecOps Engineer, you will develop and manage key components of the cloud infrastructure supporting our services, ensuring and improving availability and reliability. You will work within a DevSecOps‑driven team that manages a customer cloud environment consisting of hundreds of servers and multiple implementations of SaaS, PaaS and IaaS. Your role requires strong, up‑to‑date technical and hands‑on knowledge of cloud technologies and configuration of the cloud environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in Computer Science, Computer or Software Engineering, Information Technology or related disciplines
• Minimum 1 to 3 years of relevant IT experience
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD development (scripting such as Python, Ansible), IaC automation using Terraform, CloudFormation, and AWS cloud services to drive DevSecOps
• Experience setting up, utilizing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, scripting and automated testing
• Experience with coding or scripting languages such as Bash, Powershell, Perl, Python, etc.
• Experience in setup and configuration of OS and services via scripting (added advantage)
• Knowledge of cloud concepts, services, technologies and architecture
• Experience in utilization, management and integration of software development and collaboration tools such as Git, Maven, Gradle, Bamboo, Jenkins
