Job summary

ACCORD INNOVATIONS PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Platform Operations Engineer to design, implement and operate secure Azure cloud infrastructure for a client engagement, ensuring availability, performance, reliability and security of cloud-hosted applications.

The role covers DevOps, CI/CD, monitoring and observability, ITIL-based service management, security governance and coordination with vendors. The successful candidate will work with IM8, Zero Trust and relevant security requirements

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cloud Computing, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Certifications in Microsoft Azure, Cloud, DevOps or ITIL will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure in accordance with security, governance and government standards.
• Support cloud environments aligned with IM8, Zero Trust and relevant security requirements.
• Oversee contractors and vendors supporting application systems hosted in cloud environments.
• Ensure high availability, performance, reliability and operational stability of cloud-hosted systems.
• Enable and support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Implement and manage monitoring, logging and observability solutions for proactive infrastructure and application management.
• Manage incidents, problems and changes in accordance with ITIL processes.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive and corrective measures to reduce recurring incidents.
• Support security, governance, compliance and audit requirements for cloud infrastructure and applications.
• Perform change management activities while ensuring appropriate operational and governance controls are followed.
• Maintain operational documentation, procedures and technical records.
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, security and vendor teams to resolve operational issues and improve service reliability.

Job description

We are seeking a Platform Operations Engineer to support a client engagement in Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing and operating secure cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure while ensuring the availability, performance, reliability and security of cloud-hosted application systems.

The role will involve cloud infrastructure operations, DevOps, CI/CD, monitoring and observability, ITIL-based service management, security governance and coordination with technology vendors and contractors.

Key Requirements

Education

• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cloud Computing, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Relevant certifications in Microsoft Azure, Cloud, DevOps or ITIL will be an advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Platform Operations, Cloud Infrastructure, Cloud Operations, DevOps or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Experience designing, implementing or managing secure cloud environments.
• Experience working with security standards, government technology requirements or regulated environments.
• Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience with monitoring, logging and observability solutions.
• Experience managing incidents, problems and changes using ITIL-based processes.
• Experience performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implementing preventive measures.
• Experience coordinating or overseeing contractors/vendors supporting cloud-hosted applications.
• Understanding of security, governance, audit and change-management requirements.
• Experience supporting high-availability and reliable production environments.
