Job summary

FINN is scaling across Southeast Asia and Africa, seeking a Platform Lead to own and operate production cloud infrastructure while guiding a growing Platform squad. The role is hands-on (70–80%) with 20–30% leadership, including code review, tech direction, and mentoring.

You will shape infrastructure for high-throughput fintech systems, drive IaC maturity, CI/CD improvements, and observability, with opportunities for growth into Head of Platform/Infrastructure. Fully remote with Asia overlap.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering.
• Leads a small infrastructure/platform team—mentoring and direction.
• Strong AWS-based cloud infra, networking, identity, and security.
• Production Kubernetes with cluster operations and autoscaling.
• IaC at scale using Terraform with modularized state management.
• CI/CD design and deployment strategies (blue-green, canary).
• Linux systems administration and observability focus.
• Security-minded with access control and network security.
• Excellent communication to non-infra partners.

Responsibilities

• Own and operate cloud infrastructure and IaC across multiple markets.
• Lead platform engineers, conduct 1:1s, and set technical direction.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
• Drive observability with monitoring, logging, and tracing.
• Harden security posture and guide incident responses.
• Own code review and ensure platform velocity remains high.
• Collaborate with product leadership and participate in hiring.
