Job summary

Ambition, a leading fintech, seeks a Senior Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and operate secure, scalable cloud infrastructure in a regulated environment. You will drive automation, improve platform reliability, and lead strategic cloud initiatives across global teams.

You will build and maintain IaC-driven infrastructure, manage Kubernetes workloads (EKS/GKE) with GitOps, and enhance CI/CD pipelines while contributing to engineering best practices.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on experience with public cloud platforms (AWS and/or GCP).
• Strong Kubernetes administration and operations experience (EKS, GKE).
• Deep experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• CI/CD automation experience (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Scripting in Python and Linux-based environments.
• Experience with security, IAM, networking, and observability in cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and automate globally distributed cloud infrastructure using IaC tools (Terraform).
• Collaborate with platform engineering to design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Design and manage Kubernetes-based platforms (EKS, GKE) with GitOps (Argo CD).
• Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines and automation capabilities.
• Handle deployments, patching, backup, and recovery in production environments.
• Support incident response and on-call rotations to ensure high availability.
