Job summary

The Platform Governance team at TikTok Singapore is seeking a data-driven governance professional to help build an E-commerce ecosystem and improve platform service capabilities with advanced AI. You will own end-to-end risk strategies, from discovery to monitoring dashboards, in a hybrid work environment.

You will craft rules, thresholds and models to stop bad actors, define core metrics like listing and seller risk scores, and develop automated dashboards to track performance and detect

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in computer science or related field
• Expert-level SQL is a must. You can handle massive, complex datasets efficiently
• Strong experience with BI/Dashboarding tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, Metabase). You know how to design charts that tell a clear story
• Proficient in Python (Pandas, Scikit-learn). Hands-on experience with Tree-based models (XGBoost/LightGBM) and Unsсonved Learning (Clustering) for risk scoring and segmentation
• 2+ years of experience in Data Science, Analytics, or Risk Strategy
• You can explain complex data trends to non-technical stakeholders (Operations/Policy teams)

Responsibilities

• Governance Strategy & Risk Mining: identify new abuse patterns
• Strategy Construction: translate insights into governance strategies using Rules, Thresholds, and Risk Scores
• Practical Machine Learning: develop offline models and use clustering for risk discovery
• Metric System & Dashboard Construction: define core metrics and build dashboards to visualize risk trends
• Automated Monitoring: design alert systems to flag anomalies
• Performance Tracking & Root Cause Analysis: monitor precision/recall and analyze false positives; rapid RCA when metrics fluctuate
