Job summary

Activate Interactive Pte Ltd is seeking a Platform Engineer (Full Stack) to design and build reusable platform services on AWS and Kubernetes. You will contribute to an internal developer platform, focusing on developer experience, security, and reliability within a government-aligned environment in Singapore.

The role emphasizes platform product thinking, backend engineering, developer experience, and production engineering, with a fixed-term 1-year contract.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Go or Python with production-grade services.
• Strong frontend capability in TypeScript/React/Next.js and internal portals.
• Hands-on production experience with Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, and ArgoCD.

Responsibilities

• Design platform software abstractions over AWS, Kubernetes, GitOps, observability, and security controls.
• Build platform services, APIs, CLIs, infrastructure automation, and internal tooling.
• Define stable interfaces, versioning, error handling, and testing strategies; document components.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate delivery while preserving quality.
