Job summary

Activate Interactive Singapore is looking for a Platform Engineer to join the Co-Development Business Unit. You will contribute to a secure, scalable internal developer platform used by Singapore Government Agencies.

This fixed-term 1-year role focuses on platform software, developer experience, and secure remote environments, with emphasis on Go/Python, TS/React, Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, and ArgoCD.

Qualifications

• Strong programming in Go or Python for production-grade services and tooling.
• Proficient in TypeScript/React/Next.js for a custom internal developer portal and APIs.
• Strong fundamentals in API design, modularity, testing, error handling, and versioning.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement platform services, APIs, CLIs, infrastructure automation, and internal tooling to simplify complex infrastructure.
• Build and improve an internal developer portal and self-service workflows for provisioning and environment management.
• Define stable interfaces, versioning, testing, and documentation for platform components.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools and workflows to accelerate delivery while maintaining quality.
• Collaborate with tenant teams and platform stakeholders to reduce friction in deployment and operations.
