Job summary

Activate Interactive Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Platform Engineer (Full Stack) to join the Co-Development Business Unit for 1-year fixed-term contracts. You will design and build platform services, APIs, CLIs, and internal tooling that empower 100+ agencies and developers to deploy, operate, and scale applications with secure defaults.

You will work with Go/Python, TypeScript/Next.js, Kubernetes, AWS, GitLab CI/CD, and ArgoCD; pursue observability, reliability, and AI-assisted workflows;

Qualifications

• Strong programming ability in Go or Python with production-grade experience.
• Strong TS/React/Next.js capability for internal developer portal work.
• Solid software engineering fundamentals: API design, testing, versioning, and maintainability.
• Production experience with Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, and ArgoCD.
• Familiarity with observability, metrics, traces, dashboards, and incident recovery.
• Ability to use AI-assisted development tools responsibly and productively.
• Ability to communicate clearly with application teams, platform engineers, security stakeholders, and product owners.
• Experience building internal developer platforms or self-service portals.
• Experience with secure remote development environments, cloud workspaces, or AI-assisted workflows.
• Familiarity with secrets management, workload identity, and auditability.
• Experience with spec-driven development and automated code review or test generation.

Responsibilities

• Design developer-facing abstractions over AWS, Kubernetes, GitOps, observability, and security controls.
• Develop platform services, APIs, CLIs, infrastructure automation, and internal tooling.
• Define stable interfaces, versioning approaches, error handling, testing strategies, and documentation.
• Use AI-assisted tools to accelerate delivery while maintaining engineering quality.
• Contribute to a custom internal developer portal built with TypeScript and Next.js.
• Build self-service workflows for provisioning, deployment, environment management, observability, and readiness.
• Collaborate with tenant teams and document onboarding materials.
