Job summary

UNITYCRAFT CONSTRUCTION PTE LTD is seeking a hands-on construction worker to join our field team. You will carry out plastering, skimming, rendering and finishing on walls, ceilings and other surfaces at site.

You will also perform bricklaying, apply waterproofing, install panels, prepare surfaces, mix materials and maintain a safe, orderly work environment while following supervisor instructions. The role requires ability to work at height, overtime when needed, and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in plastering, skimming, bricklaying and general construction is required.
• Able to perform physically demanding construction work at height.
• Able to work independently and as part of a site team.
• Willing to comply with all workplace safety and health requirements and overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out plastering, skimming, rendering, and finishing works on walls, ceilings, and other surfaces.
• Perform bricklaying and related masonry works when required.
• Apply waterproofing materials and carry out waterproofing works.
• Install wall, ceiling, and other construction panels according to site requirements.
• Prepare surfaces before plastering, including cleaning, levelling, and applying bonding materials.
• Mix and prepare plaster, cement mortar, and other construction materials according to required specifications.
• Prepare construction work areas, materials, tools, and equipment.
• Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment within the worksite.
• Remove construction debris, waste, and hazardous materials from designated work areas in accordance with site safety requirements.
• Assist in assembling and dismantling barricades, temporary structures, and scaffolding where required.
• Follow approved work procedures, safety requirements, and instructions from supervisors.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and orderly condition.
