Job summary

PINTO ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a plasterer to prepare surfaces, mix plaster and related materials, and apply finishes on walls and ceilings.

You will follow drawings, select materials and tools, protect surrounding areas, and maintain a clean, safe workspace while meeting project specifications.

Collaborating with supervisors and team members, you will help ensure durable, high-quality finishes and timely completion of plastering work on site.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, repairing cracks, levelling, and priming before plaster application.
• Mix and prepare plaster, mortar, cement, and related materials to required consistency.
• Apply plaster, render, skimming coats, or decorative finishes to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Ensure smooth, even, and durable finishes that meet project specifications and quality standards.
• Repair, patch, or restore existing plasterwork where required.
• Be able to follow the drawing requirements and do the work.
• Select and use suitable materials, tools, and methods for each specific task.
• Protect surrounding areas and fixtures from plastering work to maintain site cleanliness.
• Maintain all tools, equipment, and work areas in good, safe condition.
• Work collaboratively with supervisors, contractors, and team members to meet project timelines.
• Comply with building codes, material specifications, and workplace safety regulations.
• Identify and report any site or structural issues promptly to the relevant supervisor.
• Dispose of debris and waste materials in a safe and responsible manner.
