Job summary

GMP Technologies is seeking a Mechanical Supervisor to lead daily maintenance activities on Jurong Island. You will coordinate with in-house and external contractors, manage spare parts, and drive preventive maintenance programs to ensure continuous plant reliability.

The role requires a mechanical engineering background with at least 5 years in chemical plant facilities, along with hands-on experience in CMMS and safety/compliance standards. On-site work with established teams on Jurong Island.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in plant and facilities in a chemical plant.
• Basic understanding of maintenance technologies and manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and manage daily maintenance activities with in-house and external contractors.
• Service equipment and ensure zero downtime due to spare parts unavailability.
• Analyze equipment reliability and prepare RCA with Sr Engineers.
• Prepare spare parts lists and manage stock with CMMS.
• Develop and implement routine maintenance and inspection schedules for plant equipment.
• Manage annual shutdown maintenance and liaise with contractors and production teams.
• Update long-term maintenance plan for facilities and utility equipment.
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with EHSQ policies and MSRA reviews.
• Support continuous improvement in Safety, Quality, Environment, and Health Management Systems.
