Job summary

HKM HR Management Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for our Jurong Island site.

You will plan and perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on a range of plant equipment, ensuring reliability and safe operations. The role requires 3+ years in chemical/manufacturing maintenance, with strong knowledge of RBI, vibration analysis, RCFA, and RCM. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Minimum 3 years of mechanical maintenance experience in chemical, petrochemical, polymer, or manufacturing plants.
• Experience with rotating and static equipment maintenance, plant shutdowns and turnarounds, commissioning, and reliability improvement programs.
• Knowledge of RBI, condition monitoring, vibration analysis, RCFA, and RCM.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on plant mechanical equipment.
• Ensure equipment reliability, availability, and performance to support safe operations.
• Investigate failures and implement corrective actions to improve plant performance.
• Develop and improve maintenance plans and equipment reliability.
• Maintain and troubleshoot pumps, compressors, extruders, gearboxes, and HVAC systems.
• Coordinate inspections of pressure vessels, tanks, reactors, and piping systems.
• Participate in mechanical integrity assessments and RBI/FFS inspections.
• Plan plant shutdowns and turnarounds, including manpower and contractor management.
• Support CAPEX projects, plant modifications, commissioning, and MOC activities.
• Coordinate contractors and vendors to meet safety, quality, and schedule targets.
• Ensure compliance with PTW, LOTO, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
• Manage spare parts and inventory; maintain asset records in SAP/GSAP/CMMS.
• Maintain maintenance procedures, technical documents, and equipment history.
• Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing with maintenance personnel.
