Job summary

China Railway First Group Co., Ltd. Singapore Branch is seeking an experienced Construction Planning Coordinator to support the timely delivery of major infrastructure projects in Singapore.

You will assist the Project Manager with baseline programmes, master schedules and critical-path analyses on site. The role requires a civil engineering degree and at least 5 years in planning and coordination, with Primavera experience and strong knowledge of sequencing, material scheduling, and interface

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in construction planning for major infrastructure.
• Experience with Primavera scheduling preferred.
• Strong knowledge of sequencing, planning, and material scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager in baseline programme milestones.
• Prepare and manage master programmes, critical path, delays.
• Submit monthly progress reports.
• Attend schedule review, progress, coordination, constructability meetings.
• Record weekly progress meetings with client, consultants and sub-contractors.
• Liaise with managers and engineers to discuss progress and address issues.
• Develop contract and construction programmes and project plans.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist Project Manager in the implementation and monitoring of project baseline programme with the given milestones
• Preparing and manage overall master programmes, critical path mapping, delay analysis, overall construction sequences review, schedule and interface programme impact study
• To prepare and submit monthly progress report
• Participate all meeting (ie. Schedule review meeting, progress meeting, coordination meeting, constructability review meeting and so on)
• Record / Document weekly progress meeting held with the client, consultants and sub-contractors
• Liaising with managers and engineers to discuss the progress of the project and address any issues that arise
• Developing contract and construction programmes and construction project plans

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering and/or relevant field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in construction planning and programme co-ordination for major infrastructure projects
• Experienced in Primavera is preferred
• Well-versed in sequence of works and authority requirements
• Proficient in planning works and material schedules
