Samsung-C is seeking an experienced Civil/Infrastructure Project Manager to lead mega civil construction programs in Singapore. The role requires developing master project plans, cost controls, baseline schedules, and ensuring delivery within budget, time, and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 12+ years of main contractor experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and familiarity with Primavera P6. Six-day work weeks and long hours may apply to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• PE Board recognised Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 12 years of civil and infrastructure engineering experience on mega projects in main contractor capacity.
• Strong analytical, research, writing, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Knowledge of Primavera P6 is a plus.
• Ability to communicate with headquarters and government agencies.
• Good construction project flow knowledge.
• Willing to work 6 days per week with long hours including weekends/public holidays.

Responsabilités

• Develop the master project plan according to contract agreement
• Monitor and update project cost (material, labor, subcontractor, equipment/plant, indirect cost) prediction based on site progress
• Review and study cost saving items for execution of project
• Manage compilation and ongoing Work Front procedures and plans specific to the needs of the business, and review, monitor, analyse, and report work front statistics, objectives, and targets for business improvement
• Lead the process innovation and initiatives
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement
• Prepare various monthly reports for headquarter
• Evaluate labour cost, man hours and manpower requirements against budget constraint
• Plan and prepare baseline schedule which includes cost loading, resource loading, progress update and cash flow
• Ensuring that the project is completed within the specified budget, timeline and comply with contract quality specifications and relevant regulatory requirements
• Produce and maintain accurate project schedules and understand schedule resources loading
• Manage complete financial cycle such as vendor purchase orders, client, cost proposals and invoices

• Ability to communicate with all stakeholders including with headquarters and government agencies.
• Good construction project flow knowledge
• 6 days work week with long working hours and ability to work on weekends and public holidays when required to meet tight project deadlines
