Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Install pipes, fittings, valves, and pipe supports.
• Measure, cut, and prepare pipes for installation.

About the role

Key responsibilities

• Install pipes, fittings, valves, and pipe supports


• Measure, cut, and prepare pipes for installation


• Read and follow simple construction drawings


• Assemble and fit pipes according to project requirements

• Repair or replace damaged pipes and fittings


• Use tools and equipment safely, wear the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow all workplace safety rules


• Work together with supervisors, welders, and other workers

Requirement

• Must have a Skills Evaluation Certificate (Knowledge) – SEC(K)
