Responsibilities

• Perform solvent cementing for PVC/CPVC
• Execute butt fusion, socket fusion, and electrofusion welding for HDPE, PP, PVDF
• Coordinate and supervise pipe fitting, alignment, and positioning on installations
• Review joints to ensure proper welding prep and quality
• Assist or supervise pipe cutting, beveling, and bending when required
• Support fabrication and installation of pipe supports and guide teams

Hands-On Work Responsibilities in Water Treatment Industries

• 1. Thermoplastic Piping
  • Proficient in solvent cementing (for PVC/CPVC).
  • Skilled in butt fusion, socket fusion, and electrofusion welding (for HDPE, PP, and PVDF).
  • Experienced in mechanical jointing (flanges, compression fittings.
• 2. Fit-Up and Installation
  • Perform or assist in pipe fit-up, alignment, and positioning tasks during critical or complex installations.
• 3. Welding Supervision
  • Prepare and inspect joints before welding.
  • Assist or demonstrate correct tack welding techniques or root passes if required (especially during urgent or training needs).
• 4. Pipe Cutting & Bending
  • Occasionally assist with or supervise manual or mechanical cutting, beveling, and bending of pipes.
• 5. Support Fabrication
  • Help fabricate and install pipe supports or guide teams in doing so, ensuring correct spacing and type.
• 6. ISO Drawing Interpretation
  • Able to interpret ISO drawing
