Job summary

SP Group is seeking motivated individuals to join our meter reading team in Singapore. The role involves walking to customer premises to read electricity, water, and gas meters, recording readings, and reporting any irregularities. Training will be provided, and candidates should be comfortable working outdoors and independently.

No prior experience is required as comprehensive training will be provided. A Class 2/2A/2B driving license and own vehicle are preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to undertake extensive walking and work effectively outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time.
• Preference for candidates with Class 2/2A/2B driving license and own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Read electricity, water, and gas meters at customer premises and take related actions.
• Record and submit meter readings using company systems within timelines.
• Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely readings.
• Attend to customer inquiries at site regarding meter readings.
• Report any meter irregularities or reading difficulties to supervisors.

What You'll Do:

• Read electricity, water, gas meters at customer premises and take related actions as required.
• Accurately record and submit meter readings using company-provided systems and devices within stipulated timelines.
• Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely completion of readings.
• Attend to general enquiries by customers at site regarding meter reading matters.
• Report any meter irregularities and difficulties faced in reading meters on site.

What You'll Need:

• Able to undertake extensive walking and work effectively in outdoor environments, under different weather conditions.

The successful incumbent will be engaged on a Contract for Service arrangement.
