SERVICE CONNECTIONS HR CONSULTANCY PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a qualified Physiotherapist to support student athletes at a Tampines educational institution.

You will assess, treat and rehabilitate athletes, collaborate with the Assistant Physiotherapist and ensure proper injury management. The role requires a Degree in Physiotherapy, AHPC registration, at least 2 years’ experience, SFA and AED certification, and the ability to work evening sessions up to three times a week.

Qualifications

• AHPC registration required.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as a Physiotherapist.
• SFA and AED certification must be current.
• Evening sessions required and able to adjust to competition schedules.

Responsibilities

• Review and provide physiotherapy treatment, including sports massage, to student athletes.
• Prescribe rehabilitation programmes for injured student athletes.
• Provide taping services where required.
• Assess student athletes' fitness and readiness for competitions.
• Refer student athletes to appropriate healthcare or specialist services as needed.
• Supervise the Assistant Physiotherapist.
• Ensure equipment for management of student athletes is available (excluding rigid tapes provided by the institution).

PHYSIOTHERAPIST

Remunerations Package - SGD$35.00 -SGD$50.00 per hour

Contractual Period: 1 Year Subject to extension

LOCATION: Tampines

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking qualified and experienced Physiotherapists to provide physiotherapy services for student athletes at an educational institution in Tampines. The successful candidate will provide assessment, treatment and rehabilitation support to student athletes and work closely with the Assistant Physiotherapist to ensure appropriate care and injury management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review and provide appropriate physiotherapy treatment, including sports massage, to student athletes.
• Prescribe suitable rehabilitation programmes for injured student athletes.
• Provide taping services where required.
• Assess student athletes' fitness and readiness for competitions.
• Refer student athletes to appropriate healthcare or specialist services where necessary.
• Supervise the Assistant Physiotherapist.
• Provide appropriate equipment or devices required for the management of student athletes, except rigid tapes which will be provided by the institution.

JOBREQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent.
• Must be registered with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC).
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as a Physiotherapist.
• Possess valid Standard First Aid (SFA) and AED certification and maintain validity throughout the service period.
• Experience in sports physiotherapy, rehabilitation or working with athletes will be advantageous.
• Able to commit to evening sessions and accommodate changes according to competition schedules.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

WORKINGHOURS

Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, between 6.00pm and 9.00pm (Up to 3 sessions per week) 267 hours for the 1st year and 300 hours for the 2nd year. Working days and timings may be adjusted according to competition schedules.
