Job summary

JOBSTUDIO PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a phlebotomy technician to provide fast, accurate blood collection and to perform ECG and spirometry with professionalism.

The role emphasizes infection control, precise documentation and courteous service to patients, doctors, and staff. On-site work in the West Area near MRT includes bonuses and comprehensive medical benefits.

Qualifications

• Certificate in Phlebotomy or 1 year of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, skillful and accurate blood collection for patients using venipuncture, capillary and heel-prick.
• Perform phlebotomy, ECG, spirometry in an accurate, efficient and professional way.
• Ensure work area is clean and tidy; ensure compliance with infection control guidelines.
• Ensure 2 identifiers are performed for every patient prior to collection before performing tests.
• Ensure proper documentation for traceability and good documentation practices.
• Ensure compliance to workplace safety, hand hygiene and other applicable regulatory and accreditation requirements of the laboratory.
• Provide prompt and courteous service to all external and internal clients (patients, doctors, vendors) over the counter or on the phone.
